In the April 1994 issue, on page 157 of the Consultation with the Specialist entitled "Vascular Access," the third sentence under Intraosseous Infusion should read: If access cannot be achieved in several minutes, an intraosseous needle should be placed in the proximal tibia [not the distal tibia, as printed] in children under 6 years of age.
