We Listen to Readers' Suggestions

R J H

During the year, we receive numerous excellent suggestions from readers. We try to respond by either changing PIR or explaining why we do not. Many have urged us to publish shorter articles with more graphics and 10 rather than 12 issues per year. We are taking these suggestions seriously. It is difficult, however, to expect our expert writers to be more succinct; complex issues require fairly long reviews. In addition, we have added several short sections, such as In Brief (formerly Abstracts), Index of Suspicion (which receives universal approval). Consultation with the Specialist, Back to Basics, Quality Assurance, and Record Reviews, all of which we hope to include in the future.
