Diagnosis of Chlamydial Conjunctivitis

In the March issue of Pediatrics in Review (1984;5:285), there is an error on page 289, the second paragraph under "Diagnosis." In the third line, Gram-stained should read Giemsa-stained. The cytoplasmic inclusions of Chlamydia may be demonstrated by Giemsa staining or by fluorescent antibody staining, but not by Gram staining.
