An error was noted in the August 2017 article “The Pediatrician’s Role in Encouraging Exclusive Breastfeeding” (Bunik M. Pediatrics in Review. 2017;18(8):353-368. DOI: 10.1542/pir.2016-0109). On page 364, the second paragraph in the “Tongue-Tie” section should read: “Anterior tongue-tie, which causes the tongue to have decreased lateral movement and decreased frontal movement up and over the gums, can cause pain and ineffective latch when breastfeeding. Anterior tongue-tie can be associated with ineffective nursing and decreasing milk supply.” The online version of the article has been corrected, and a correction notice will appear in the next available print issue of the journal. The journal regrets the error.
